# 4. Difference Between Withdrawal and Takedown

## Withdrawal by User

Users may voluntarily withdraw their own statements in accordance with platform functionality.

Withdrawal does not ordinarily remove the historical existence of the statement from the platform record.

## Takedown by Platform
